Playing Host

Alright, we are exactly playing host to anyone. Just that recently, we had a new guy whom arrived in Mountain Home. Being here for more than 24 months, we had to help him and his wife settle down ASAP. Both of are very young married couple and it was a good time for them to get used to staying with one another just like us.

Last weekend, we did nothing else except to bring this young couple around to purchase their daily needs. We brought them to the capital of Idaho to get more stuffs to set up their house. It felt really nice to be able to help them to settle down and helped them as much as possible. Yesterday, Ju prepared a fabulous dinner to welcome our new friends. She prepared Korean BBQ chicken, Sambal Prawns and Fried egg with radish. I loved her cooking! She improved almost everytime she cooks. The BBQ chicken was really tender and I could just have that for a week!

Even though we were really busy taking care of our new friends, we managed some time to visit our old friend, Agnes and Alvin. They just had a newborn named Alyssa and Agnes' mum was here too! We had a great time at their house and 2 more weeks will be Alyssa's baby shower.

Man.... four days of holiday passed too soon.. Can't wait for the next holiday to be here!

P.S. I have made up my mind. Time to plan for my future as my clock is counting down everyday..

Mothers Day

A week after Mother's Day, we wished our mothers a happy Mother's Day and thanked them for bringing us to this world and gave us such a beautiful life. Besides, we also like to thank them for nurturing us to who we are today. Your love is priceless. We love you!

3 Days Tour with my adorable In Laws

Finally I'm back and of course my plan was to let my in laws see the bigger America. Right after the next day, we set off to the nearest casino, Cactus Pete's.

While on our way to CP, we dropped by Twin Falls to visit the beautiful Shoshone Fall. We were too far away from The Great Niagara Fall and this what we can settle with in Idaho.

After an hour drive, we finally reached Cactus Pete's resort where we spent the rest of our evening. As it was Mother's Day, we had a feast at the Cannon Cove Buffet. The food was amazing less the oysters which weren't fresh and caused me to have AGE later on.

We wanted to set off early to Salt Lake City the following day and only to find out we were an hour behind. All thanks to my iPhone that did not auto adjust the time. The journey to Salt Lake City took us about four hours and that was an extremely long road trip for Mum and Dad. We went to New Golden Dragon restaurant for an awesome lunch. Well, after we have an extreme heavy meal, we needed some exercise! Thereafter, I brought them to Tanger Outlet at Park City to shop.

Time passed so quickly especially when we were enjoying shopping with our loved ones. 4 hours passed and we couldn't even complete a round! Haha..
Since all shops were closed, we headed to the hotel which turned out to be an eye opener. Red Lion Hotel.

The next morning, I wasn't feeling too good. Couldn't have my breakfast and even puked after that. We drove back to Mountain Home after we went to an asian market to do some grocery shopping.

Everyone was really tired when we reached Mountain Home. I was ill and had to take medicine and a rest. Mum and Ju prepared porridge dinner for all of us and that was really delicious.

I hoped Mum and Dad enjoyed the trip. Hope to spend more time with them.. Had not for work commitment yet again. Well, I'm counting down to a brand new future..

Coming home

After two weeks of hard work at sunny state, Florida, finally I'm returning home. I hoped Ju will not be too surprised to see my face and arms burning red. Feeling so tired but I'm not going to cancel the trip to Salt Lake City. It was made for Mum and Dad who are going back next Saturday. Did not have the time to bring them around to see the real America and hope they will enjoy this trip. Eight hours away from reaching Boise, can't wait to see them!
