Adventurous McCall

We decided to do something different again this weekend and drove up to McCall which was approximately 3 hours drive away from Mountain Home.

Honey had always wanted to horseback riding and in McCall, Yahoo Corrals has one of the best horseback riding trail.

You have to be sharp enough to

After riding for a good 90 minutes, we went on to canoe at Backwoods.

Adventure continues in the next post...

Down the Payette

Last Saturday, we had our first ever whitewater rafting down the Payette River together Rajesh and Nisha. Man! It was so fun and I was thrown in front twice by the strong waves. It was pretty thrilling even though the waves were just level 3.

We are planning to go for another trip in August. Can't wait! Anyway, this weekend, we are going up McCall for horseback riding! Let's see if there's any water games around.

P.S. Was too tired to post on Sat and Sun as we woke up really early on Sat and I was helping a friend to move house.

September, New York

In end of September, we will be going to New York. Well, it was pretty unplanned. Since Rajesh and Nisha are planning to go, why not we go together.

Air ticket booked. Now we are looking for a suitable hotel to stay in. With a tight budget, we only have limited choices. Time is on our side but we are planning to book early to get the best price for the accommodation.

P.S. World Cup has started! England, Spain and Uruguay lost. What an interesting World Cup! Besides, it's game 5 for NBA finals too. If the Heats lose, that will be Spurs championship! Gonna sleep now, waking up early to watch Ecuador take on Switzerland tmr.

Wake up, MT

Last week, a serious accident happened to Ju's cousin, Deedee and her boyfriend, MT. They were being knocked down by a lorry while on they were on the way on an electric bike to a bus stop where Deedee takes bus to school daily. Deedee suffered a fracture tail bone and MT suffered a serious head injury that led him to coma and fighting for his life in intensive care.

Both of them are really close to us. Deedee is like a younger sister to Ju and of course, I treated her like a sister too. While I'm away, this young couple kept Ju company. MT became like a younger brother to us. I was first introduced to him when I came back from US two years ago. He is a young man which a bright future. His thinking is so much mature than most of his peers. That really impressed me.

It's really heartache to hear the bad news. They sent a picture of him with all the tubes sticking into his mouth as he lied there motionlessly. Such a bright young man whine just turned 21, had to suffer in such circumstances. If we can talk to him right now, we would like to tell him this:

MT, stay strong! Don't give up! You must keep fighting and win this personal war! You must pick yourself up! Keep going MT!

We hoped everyday we will receive good news about him. God must have realize that this punishment had been too harsh on him. He is too young. Too young to beside you, God. Bless him please. Let him wake up and fight!

Playing Host

Alright, we are exactly playing host to anyone. Just that recently, we had a new guy whom arrived in Mountain Home. Being here for more than 24 months, we had to help him and his wife settle down ASAP. Both of are very young married couple and it was a good time for them to get used to staying with one another just like us.

Last weekend, we did nothing else except to bring this young couple around to purchase their daily needs. We brought them to the capital of Idaho to get more stuffs to set up their house. It felt really nice to be able to help them to settle down and helped them as much as possible. Yesterday, Ju prepared a fabulous dinner to welcome our new friends. She prepared Korean BBQ chicken, Sambal Prawns and Fried egg with radish. I loved her cooking! She improved almost everytime she cooks. The BBQ chicken was really tender and I could just have that for a week!

Even though we were really busy taking care of our new friends, we managed some time to visit our old friend, Agnes and Alvin. They just had a newborn named Alyssa and Agnes' mum was here too! We had a great time at their house and 2 more weeks will be Alyssa's baby shower.

Man.... four days of holiday passed too soon.. Can't wait for the next holiday to be here!

P.S. I have made up my mind. Time to plan for my future as my clock is counting down everyday..

Mothers Day

A week after Mother's Day, we wished our mothers a happy Mother's Day and thanked them for bringing us to this world and gave us such a beautiful life. Besides, we also like to thank them for nurturing us to who we are today. Your love is priceless. We love you!
