23 Sep 13, Our ROM Juliana Thoughts

Ruiz, our miracle lies in the path we have chosen together. I enter into this marriage with you, knowing that the true magic of love is not to avoid changes, but to navigate them successfully. Let us commit to the miracle of making each day work together. Ruiz, I LOVE YOU.

In every relationship, there are rules and regulations.. There's no right or wrong. Most importantly, there must be mutual understandings and mutual agreements in couples. What we had been through is what every couple would had been through.

Grrr.... Will update you guys again.

Typed by Ruiz as Juliana is too shy to update her own thoughts. She has to say and I typed it out.

Good night all!

23 Sep 13, Our ROM - Ruiz Thoughts

I don't know how to put it in words but I just know that marriage is a commitment to one another. We have to care and love each other in bad and good times. We have to faithful to each other and no matter what happened that might do us apart, we will always find a way back to each other.

Our status changed from a lovely young couple to married adults. We will still be as usual happy, outgoing etc. We will remain as loving and of course will become more loving as time goes by. There will definitely have arguments, disagreement and unhappy moments. But with our love in each other, we will find our way back to each other arms.

When I was making my final vetting in the function room, I was thinking to myself. "Wow.. I'm getting married! Juliana is going to be my life time partner." I felt a little nervous and my heart suddenly became heavier. When the march in music, By My Side, finally played, Juliana accompanied with her Dad walk through the aisle. She is damn beautiful and she's my wife in few minutes! I could feel that her Dad was feeling a little nervous too after he forgot to pass his daughter's hand to me. Haha.. That's fine though.

When I said my vow to her, I stuttered a little as I was getting nervous. I tried to keep my composure and finished my vow. If I can re-write my vow again, I would keep it short and sweet. This came to my thoughts after our ROM:

Juliana,

You are my best friend. I vow to take care of you, encourage and inspire you in good and bad times. No matter what happened that may do us apart, we will always find a way back to each other. Juliana, You are SO mine!!!

P.S. I will get the ever tired Juliana to write her thoughts.. Stay tune people! Pictures are on their way...

Rajesh & Nisha's Wedding, 8 Sep 2013

First of all, we would like to congratulate Rajesh and Nisha, the newly wed. We had a wonderful evening at their wedding in Sri Mariamnam Temple. This was our first time attending an Indian traditional wedding and definitely our first time wearing the beautiful Indian traditional costumes. We are truly honored to be invited to their wedding.

The function room was beautifully decorated and almost everyone was dressed in the traditional Indian costume. There was a huge crowd consisted of different races. When we reached the entrance of the function room, we were greeted by Mr Shan, Rajesh's father, who is always cheerful and has a big heart. We were a little lost as we didm't know most of the people there. We proceeded to the function room by walking through the main door as friends and relatives of the newly wed sprinkled water from a golden bowl and gave us flowers. I believe those were to symbolize good luck. While making our way to the seat, a gorgeous woman greeted us and after startled for a few minutes, I realized she's Nisha's mum! She looked totally different that night with her hair bundled up nicely and she was wearing a stunning Sari.

While we were waiting anxiously for the ceremony to start, the newly wed's relative recommended us to take our dinner first as the ceremony will take about an hour. We took his recommendation and proceeded to the dining hall on the first floor. The food served which were all vegetarian consisted of Bryani rice, mock curries, papadams and other delicious traditional Indian dishes. Even though the dinner was vegetarian, the fragrance and the taste were awesome. We really enjoyed it. Apart from that, there was a photo booth set up for the guest to have a picture as a souvenir of the wedding. How wonderful!

After all the prayers by the priest, the newly wed sat on a couch in the center stage as the guests queued up to congratulate them. It was such a fantastic evening!  We wish the lovely couple to have a blissful marriage and have a baby soon!

P.S. One week to our ROM...

23 Sep Team

A successful event requires a strong team to complete the task. Just like a successful restaurant needs a team to run it well. For our ROM, we have identified key personnel to ensure the event goes smoothly.

Here are our team members:
1. Aunt Dorine - Wedding planner
She is our wedding planner and will be ensuring the function room is well decorated and assist the Coordinator.

2. Rui Cheng - Coordinator
Young and energetic are his strong points. His inexperience will be buffered by Aunt's vast experience. He will definitely show people that despite his relatively young age, he can handle the big task.

3. Shikai - The Replacement Killer
He will be standby if the main photographer play us out. Besides, he will be taking care of taking the video for our solemnization. The man all suitable for the job.

4. Ouyang - Music Deejay
He will be the main deejay but will be responsible to coordinate which songs to be played. Ultimately, he will also be helping to play the video montage I've made.

5. Ai en - Ring Bearer
She is Juliana's youngest cousin and yet handed a very huge but simple task. To bring the rings to the hotel.

6. May, Cindi, Aidy - The Receptions
They will be taking note on the guests arrival and collect gifts from guests. Besides, they will be taking polarite photos for the guests, paste them on the guestbook and remind the guest to sign it off.

7. Elmo - The Expediter
Elmo will be fetching Shikai (the videographer) and assist to expedite in the event.

P.S. Our wedding bands are ready for collection. Stay tune folks!
